Meghan Bonich, a commercial-services estimator for Saunders Construction, Inc., will be awarded the 2007 National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Outstanding Student of the Year Award at the International Builders' Show in Orlando on Friday. The award recognizes exceptional student members of the NAHB for their academic standing and involvement with the NAHB, local home builders' associations and extracurricular activities.
"Meghan is a bright, young talent who is sure to go far in the construction industry," said
Kay Rasmussen, manager of preconstruction services for Saunders Construction, Inc. and Bonich's supervisor. "Her drive and enthusiasm for learning is unsurpassed and I can't think of anyone who deserves this award more. She's a valuable addition to the Saunders team." Saunders Construction Inc. is a Colorado-based full-service construction manager and general contractor.
Bonich graduated from Colorado State University (CSU) in December 2007 with a degree in construction management.
