Saunders Construction, Inc. Hires New Director of Organizational Development

Saunders Construction, Inc., a Colorado-based full-service construction manager and general contractor, welcomes Robert Roby to its staff. Roby will serve as the company's director of organizational development and will spearhead recruiting and retention efforts. Roby is also responsible for career development, training and pathing for Saunders Construction's 500 employees.

"Bob brings more than 20 years of senior management experience to Saunders. His wide and varied skill set coupled with his dynamic personality is sure to result in a fresh strategic direction for the department," said John Beeble, president and CEO for Saunders Construction. Prior to joining Saunders Construction, Roby was the deputy director of facilities and fleet management, the manager of finance and administrative services for the Department of Human Services and a project manager for Arapahoe County. He also worked for BJSystems, Inc., Brian Rick & Associates, Inc. and the City of Arvada.

Roby was a member of the International City/County Management Association and is an accomplished writer and public speaker. Roby has a master's degree in public administration and a bachelor's degree from the University of Colorado, a project management professional certificate from the Project Management Institute, a master certificate of project management from George Washington University and senior government executives training from Harvard University. Roby is also a certified facility manager and is credentialed from the International Facility Managers Association.
