CENTENNIAL, Colo. - February 19, 2008 - Cochlear Americas, the world's leader in advanced hearing solutions, today announced that it has signed a long-term lease agreement to relocate its U.S. headquarters to Creekside at Cherry Creek office park in the city of Centennial, Colorado.
As the anchor tenant, Cochlear Americas will occupy more than 74,000 square feet of space at 12929 East Peakview and 13059 East Peakview. The move will consolidate the company's two separate Englewood facilities, moving 200 corporate executive and operations employees into one location by the end of June 2008.
"We look forward to calling Centennial home and making a positive contribution to the community," said
Traci Bowen
, vice president human resources, Cochlear Americas. "The new facility will accommodate our anticipated growth and allow us to consolidate all of our employees in one location, therefore enabling us to better serve our customers. Centennial was a logical choice due to the intimate campus feel of the facility and proximity to retail, restaurants and multiple points of access for commuters."
"Centennial continues to diligently work to create a business climate that national organizations such as Cochlear Americas look for when relocating their headquarters. Centennial has all the things that a business like Cochlear needs to flourish, including a healthy educated workforce, a great quality of life, excellent neighborhoods with access to parks and open space and the safest city in Colorado are all the assets we are proud of. We want Centennial to be known for these things," said Centennial Mayor
Randy Pye
. "I am extremely pleased to have a business the stature of Cochlear Americas as part of the Centennial community."
