The Rumors Aren't True... Spaces Remain for All Ages in All Sessions!
Slots are still available in the popular camps of the Mizel Center for Arts and Culture for summer 2006, Executive Artistic Director
Steve Wilson
said.
"We believe our summer theatre and art programs to be among the finest in the Front Range. Our 12-year track record and some of the best artist-teachers in the area have helped solidify our reputation as a high-quality arts education venue. Unique to our theatre program are extensive performance opportunities," Wilson said.
"Our camps usually sell out quickly, but there is still room in many of the programs, so we are trying to get the word out for interested parents to give us a call. There were early rumors that we had no spaces left -- not true, but call now as many of our programs sell out by the beginning of summer."
The Mizel Center offers a huge array of summer art and drama programming for kids from 4 years old to 12th grade, with half-day and full-day options available and sessions ranging from one week to three. A handful of spaces remain for all age groups in all sessions, Wilson said. Call 303-316-6360 for a Summer Fun Guide and enrollment forms.
The Mizel Center for Arts and Culture, located on the campus of the Jewish Community Center at 350 S. Dahlia St., welcomes the entire community to all of its programs for children and adults. In addition to summer camps, the Mizel Center offers year-round art classes for adults, five art exhibits annually, and musical performances. It also is the home of the Denver Children's Theatre and the Mizel Center Theatre Co.
