The Arapahoe High School Varsity Cheers recently participated in the Universal Cheerleaders Association's National High School Cheerleading Championship in Orlando, Florida. The team competed in the Large Varsity division against 48 teams from across the country. They advanced to the finals among 25 other teams and placed 11th in the national competition.

Lou Ikard is in the communications department for Littleton Public Schools.
