Ciao! Lenki's students learn Italian
Contributed by: Alice Moore on 3/6/2008

Lois Lenski, a blue ribbon elementary school, teaches special after school classes for kids who want to learn Italian.

These classes are designed for the students to have fun and learn at the same time. The teacher, Megan Small, is an inspired woman who leads her students along the path of becoming bilingual.

Two of her students, Drew W. and Elle W. agree. "Italian classes are what I look forward to everyday of the week." Drew says enthusiastically. Megan tries hard to control her rambunctious students, but it's because they're having a great time.

A reporter also interviewed Elle W. "I love Italian because all of my friends, Chris F., Rachael B., Ninoska R., and Drew W. go there too. We have a blast!" Learning a foreign language is beneficial to their education and Lenski gives kids that opportunity.

However, these classes cannot go on unless they have enough students sign up. All of Lenski's kids should go to Italian or take another language. Lois Lenski also offers Spanish class. Give your child the gift of a second language like Lenski's students!
