Museum seeking small collections for display

The Aurora History Museum is looking for residents willing to loan their own small, private collection of items for a month for the museum to display in their Collector's Corner exhibit case.

Past collections on display included former Mayor Paul Tauer's lapel pins, Semester At Sea paraphernalia, antique spice tins and John Wayne plates.

The Aurora History Museum is a service of the City of Aurora's Cultural Services Division. The museum at 15051 E. Alameda Parkway is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Admission to the museum's permanent and rotating exhibits is free.
