Rebekah Corah, of Centennial, is 14 years old. She has been skating for 3 years. Rebekah started lessons in the South Suburban Ice Arena Learn-To-Skate program.

She has passed many tests and has become a beautiful figure skater since that first group lesson. From July 28 through Aug. 2, Rebekah will be competing in the ISI World Team Championships to be held at the Family Sports Ice Arena and the South Surburban Ice Arena.

"I'm very excited to be competing in such a large event with skaters from all over the world!" Rebekah is entering seven different events. She will be teamed up with a skater from Virginia in a Jump and Spin event. "My favorite moves to do on the ice are an Axel jump and a back spiral."

Rebekah skates three times a week and takes two lessons every week.
