***UPDATE*** SSPR Super Bowl Run canceled

***The following event has been canceled due to poor trail conditions***

South Suburban Parks and Recreation invites families and friends for some fun and exercise before the big game on Sunday, February 4. A 5K run event is scheduled, for 12 pm, with registration and check-in beginning at 10:30 am.

The race course follows the High Line Canal Trail around deKoevend Park, 6301 S. University Blvd., originating and ending at the Park's Shelter A. Racers of all ages are encouraged to participate in the run and partake of snacks, prizes and games. Top-finishing runners in each category will receive awards.

The event is sponsored by Dick's Sporting Goods. Register early for $12 at www.sspr.org; select class #103501. Race day registration cost is $20. For information call 303-798-7515. All proceeds will benefit the South Suburban Youth Track program.
