Celebrate summer at South Suburban pools

Make a splash this summer at South Suburban Parks and Recreation's four outdoor pools opening Saturday, May 26 for the summer season. Special Memorial weekend hours are from 10 am to 7 pm Saturday and Sunday. For regular operating hours, visit www.sspr.org or call the individual pool. Stop by for relaxation, join a swim team or register for lessons.

Pools are conveniently located in neighborhoods throughout South Suburban's service area and are staffed by certified lifeguards. All four outdoor pools feature entertaining drop slides. Ben Franklin and Harlow pools offer longer, exhilarating water slides. Locations and phone numbers are as follows:

For sun-safe swimming, South Suburban also has four indoor pools located in the following recreation centers:
