Contributed by: Jean Flynn on 5/17/2007

Whether you have a favorite golf course or just want variety, South Suburban Parks and Recreation has a golf pass program that will save you money. District residents can purchase an annual pass for either Littleton Golf Course or South Suburban Golf Course or a combination pass that allows you to play at both courses at a discounted price. Passes for individual courses are available for the following fees: 18 and over $600, 17 and under and seniors 65+, $525, husband and wife, $900. Pay a small fee and enjoy unrestricted daily play, weekends excluded.

Littleton Golf Course, 5800 S. Federal Blvd., 303-794-5838, is an executive 18-hole, par 63 course. South Suburban Golf Course, 7900 S. Colorado Blvd., 303-770-5508, has two courses, a regulation 18-hole, par 72 and a 9-hole, par 3. Courses are open year round, weather permitting and are staffed by PGA and LPGA-trained professionals. Private and semi-private lessons can be scheduled. Well-stocked pro shops, rental carts, pull carts and clubs are available at each course.

Want county club services and amenities? Consider an annual membership at Lone Tree Golf Club, 9808 Sunningdale Blvd., 303-799-9940. Memberships include unlimited golf seven days per week, priority tee times, locker and club storage services. Arnold Palmer designed this championship course with a 45,000 square foot clubhouse. Special rates for District Residents. For more South Suburban golf information visit www.sspr.org.
