ArapahoeCounty will close East Quincy Avenue to westbound traffic from Powhaton and Watkins Road on June 29 for the annual Danskin Women's Triathlon in Aurora.The temporary closure will be 5- 7 a.m. for triathlon participants to access the park.

In addition, all lanes of East Quincy Avenue will be closed from Powhaton to Watkins Roads from 7 a.m. to noon for the duration of the race.

The closure will accommodate the 12-mile bike ride and 3.1 mile run of the triathlon. Approximately 2,000 women are expected to compete this year.
