Suspects in burglaries arrested

On September 10, at approximately 1 a.m., Arapahoe County Sheriff's Deputy J. Zachman was conducting an increased patrol and surveillance in the 6200 block of South Parker Road in connection with an Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office operations plan that was in place due to a string of commercial burglaries in the area.

At 1:16 a.m., Deputy Zachman observed a car back up to a business and the occupants exit the vehicle. Deputy Zachman heard breaking glass and notified the ACSO Communications Center about a possible burglary in progress. The suspects then exited the business and left the shopping plaza in the car. Deputy Zachman conducted a high risk stop in the 5900 block of South Mobile Street where the two occupants in the vehicle were contacted and detained.

The suspects were identified as Lowry, Michael C., 22, Polzine, Lauren A., 20

ACSO deputies determined that the business where the individuals were first spotted had been burglarized. Evidence was observed, in plain view, in the front passenger floorboard. Both suspects were then taken into custody and transported to the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office headquarters where formal interviews were conducted by Investigators. As a result of the Investigation, the suspects have been linked to several other commercial burglaries in the City of Centennial and the Town of Foxfield. Subsequently, both suspects were booked into the Arapahoe County Detention Facility on the following charges.
Second Degree Burglary, Class Four Felony;
Theft, Class Four Felony; Criminal Mischief; Class Four Felony; Possession of Burglary Tools, Class Five Felony and Possession of a Controlled Substance, Class Four Felony. Bond was set at $50,000 each.
