Davies appointed Arapahoe Library District deputy director


Nicolle Ingui Davies was recently appointed to the position of Deputy Director for the Arapahoe Library District (ALD), a public library system serving the city of Centennial, as well as portions of Arapahoe and Adams counties. In this newly created position, Davies, who previously served as the Director of Development and Communications for ALD, oversees the daily operations of the Library District.

"As Deputy Director, Nicolle will direct the day-to-day business of serving our patrons with outstanding and personalized service - from early literacy and school achievement to finding a job and building essential life skills," said ALD Executive Director Eloise May.

Prior to joining ALD nearly five years ago, Davies served as vice president of Galloway Group, a Public Relations/Community Relations Firm in Denver. Davies began her career in television in New York as a production assistant on Sunrise and the Today Show. Davies also worked as a news producer for KUSA (Denver) and WTSP (Tampa) television stations. Davies holds a Masters Degree in Public Administration and Bachelor of Science Degree in Journalism from the University of Colorado. She is currently enrolled in the Master's of Library and Information Science program at the University of Wisconsin.
