Coyote program education, awareness offered

A CHANCE TO GET INVOLVED AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE

COYOTE PROGRAM EDUCATION AND AWARENESS

The City of Centennial is working with WildEarth Guardians and the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), to provide information about how to coexist with coyotes.

The City is asking for the public's assistance to distribute information to neighborhoods and greenbelt areas identified as coyote "hot spots". In addition to providing educational materials, whistles will be given for a possible hazing tool.

WildEarth Guardians protects and restores wildlife, wild rivers, and wild places in the American West (http://www.wildearthguardians.org/). HSUS is one of the most established humane organizations in the U.S. and has an office in Colorado (http://www.hsus.org/).

If interested in volunteering, please email cbott@centennialcolorado.com.

WildEarth Guardians will send an email to confirm your participation as a volunteer. The time commitment is flexible.
