Arapahoe County seeks citizens to serve on advisory boards, committees
The Arapahoe County Board of CountyCommissioners is seeking applications from residents who are interested in helping their community by serving on an advisory board or committee.
Qualified applicants must be residents of ArapahoeCounty. To serve on the Board of Adjustment or Planning Commission, applicants must live in or own property in unincorporated ArapahoeCounty.
Citizens applying for positions on the Community Corrections Board or Liquor Authority will be given a background check prior to being appointed. Applications must be post-marked by Dec. 3, 2007 to be considered. Applications are being accepted for the following advisory boards and committees:
- Board of Adjustment
- Board of Review
- Citizen Budget Committee
- Citizen's Review Panel
- Community Corrections Board
- CSU Extension Advisory Committee
- Cultural Council -
openings for City of Aurora, City of Centennial, Cities of Englewood, Littleton and Sheridan, Unincorporated Arapahoe County and other cities.
Citizens must reside in one of these areas to apply for these positions. There is one at-large position and citizens from any area of ArapahoeCounty can apply for this position.
