Holiday food drive at Arapahoe Library District
Contributed by: Michelle Cingrani on 11/14/2007

The libraries of the Arapahoe Library District are asking their patrons to join with library staff in helping out those less fortunate this holiday season by bringing non-perishable food items to any of their library locations starting Monday, November 26 through Saturday, December 8. Donations will go to The Emergency Food Assistance Program, which serves all of Arapahoe County through 18 contracted food banks.

Contributions of non-perishable food items that are not past their due dates are greatly needed and appreciated. Possible donations include dry, canned or shelf-stable milk; canned meats, tuna or chicken; canned vegetables or soups; dry beans; dehydrated potatoes; jelly/jam; and pasta sauce.

The Arapahoe Library District thanks its patrons in advance for their generosity. For more information, call 303-LIBRARY.
