Cheesy Jane's
12073 E. Arapahoe Road, Centennial; 303-858-1144
By Blake Borque
If you like burgers, malts and milkshakes, then Cheesy Jane's is the right place for you! Cheesy Jane's is located at 12073 E. Arapahoe Road. Cheesy Jane's has delicious food because it's cooked on a great grill.
Cheesy Jane's has sparkly clean floors because they clean it every day. When I went to the bathroom, I saw that there was not a speck on the floor. Also, my brother and I went to go outside because we wanted to check what was there and there were only a couple bits of trash on the ground and the tables.
Their service is outstanding because they come to you right away and ask for your drinks then get them and come back and ask you for your food. Also, when you are there for your birthday, you get a free malt or milkshake. Like, for instance, I went there for my birthday and I got a free milkshake.
Some of the foods that I like are chicken fingers, burgers, tater tots and fries. There are also some other types of food to die for. I asked my mom and dad how their food was and it was wonderful.
So what are you waiting for? Head on down to Cheesy Jane's today!
The Elephant Bar
8121 E. Arapahoe Rd., Greenwood Village; 720-529-9920
By Dana Mondragon
If you're looking for a great place to eat, then you might as well swing on by the Elephant Bar. The Elephant Bar is at 8121 E. Arapahoe Rd. I'll talk to you about the its wild ambiance, pricing and its great service. If you want to go shopping later, well then, across the street is a great shoe store and grocery store.
The Elephant Bar is a dining adventure. In the Elephant Bar there is a giant elephant head in the waterfall. There are also steel giraffe outside. The Elephant Bar is as wild as a jungle.
The pricing at the Elephant Bar is great too. The kids' meals even come with a free ice cream sundae. The most a meal would cost is $28.
The service is the best. They're really friendly and they check on you every now and then. They're quick to seat you and quick to take your order.
Clearly the Elephant Bar is the place to eat. With great ambiance, pricing and service, I'd choose to eat at the Elephant Bar.
Fazoli's Restaurant
8260 S. Quebec Street, Centennial; 720-214-5502
By Shelby Sutton
If you are planning on going to a restaurant sometime soon then I suggest you try Fazoli's. Why, you may ask? Well, I will tell you in these next few paragraphs. I will tell you about the fast service, surroundings and other comments about my favorite foods.
Fazoli's service is very easy, and here are some reasons why:
-Contact is very easy
-Men/women check in with you every 7-10 minutes to see if you want anything
-Also, people are very friendly
Another reason why I like Fazoli's is that you see it shine on the ground and tables. In my opinion, I think that the lights aren't too bright or too dark. It does not have a play-area, but it is still cool to me.
Their food does not cost very much. Their food is great and you can eat as much as you like. Sometimes, they even give you a lunch price instead of a dinner price - that is good because the dinner price is more expensive than the lunch price.
Fazoli's has my favorite food, and it might have yours also. Pizza is my second-favorite food. Those are some reasons why I recommend it to you. Hope to see you at Fazoli's!
Gunther Toody's
9220 E Arapahoe Rd., Greenwood Village; 303-799-1958
By Rachel Mansfield
Do you like the 1950s style? If you do, Gunther Toody's is for you. Gunther Toody's has such fantastic service. The food is so good.
Gunther Toody's has many cool things like old cars. The car is usually turquoise; sometimes the car is brown. I do not know if I would like one of those cars.
All the people are so nice. The girls wear old-fashioned clothes. The people are so quick at cooking, and before you know it the food is done. Someone always greets you at the door.
Speaking of food, let me tell you about their food. In the morning Gunther Toody's has wonderful eggs that make you want to have more and more. My favorite food there is french toast. The syrup is the best I have ever had. It tastes as good as when a baby has its first bite of ice cream.
I hope you give Gunther Toody's a try, especially if you like the 1950s style, great food and wonderful service.
Los Dos Potrillos
8251 S. Holly St., Centennial; 720-529-0299
By Taylor Apple
If you like Mexican food, come to Los Dos Potrillos. These are three things I like about Los Dos Potrillos that you will want to know: The great food; the fabulous pricing and how friendly they are.
If you like Mexican and you want tasty food, listen to this. First, what I like best there is the taco de carbon; it is a scrumptious meat with a corn tortilla and you can squeeze lemon juice on the taco. That is just what I like. They also have American food. It is a great place if you like Mexican but your kids do not. One more thing - they have great drinks, too. My favorite is the strawberry daiquiri.
Another wonderful thing about Los Dos Potrillos that my parents love is how they have great pricing. The price is very reasonable. That is what my mom and dad love about Los Dos Potrillos.
Also, Los Dos Potrillos is very friendly, but that is just my own opinion. For example, one time we were there and people were just there and only talking with each other, so we were waiting and they would not leave, so we asked they owner if they would make theme leave and so they did and we finally got to eat. That is why the are so friendly.
I hope you sometime come to Los Dos Potrillos. It is just great.
New Saigon
630 S. Federal Blvd., Denver; 303-936-4954
By Brett Israel
New Saigon is located on Federal Boulevard. New Saigon is a great Vietnamese restaurant with my two favorite foods: Soft shell crab and mussels. This restaurant also has helpful service.
The food at New Saigon is quite delectable. I think the food had a lot of time spent in preparing it. The waiter will start you off with mouth-watering appetizers that include egg rolls that you wrap in lettuce and heart-stopping soft shell crab. But that's not all! To add great flavoring, the appetizers will include dipping sauce, cilantro and mint leaves. Next, you will get the food you chose from the menu. My personal favorite is mussels with rice, squid and veggies. The menu offers a big variety of food. I am sure you will like the food here.
I think New Saigon has great ambiance. It's very inviting when you first walk in because you will see that most of the tables are filled. Take a look inside and you'll see that New Saigon is very popular. New Saigon set up pictures that had a lot of work put into them. I also think New Saigon is a very authentic traditional restaurant. If you want to go to New Saigon, don't dress too casual or too fancy.
New Saigon has very good and friendly service. We walked in and we were seated right away. When we were puzzled about what to order, the waiter was very helpful and told us what the food was like. It made me think that the waiters were very kind people. I also think they were kind because the manager kept checking on us to see if we were okay.
So, if you are looking for great food, kind waiters and a nice quiet time, I suggest you go to New Saigon. If you want to get there at a good time and not wait for a table, I suggest you make reservations. Hope you have a good time at New Saigon.
On the Border
8555 S. Quebec St., Highlands Ranch; 303-683-3138
By Brooke Arnold
On the Border is my favorite Mexican restaurant. I love the location because it is right in the middle of Centennial. On the Border is located at 8555 S. Quebec St., in Highlands Ranch. Their food is very appetizing, but the service is phenomenal. For a Mexican restaurant, the ambiance is very appealing.
The food in this restaurant is as good as a carrot would taste if you were Bugs Bunny. Our food came extremely fast; it only took 10 minutes. I absolutely love the "Make Your Own Burrito." It lets you choose from what type of tortilla you would like to have and what sauce is your favorite. Their cheese enchiladas are to die for. Your waiter/waitress will present the enchilada to you and it will be drenched in cheese. The delectable, mouthwatering Apple Crisp tastes like you are falling into a dream - it tastes that good. The Apple Crisp will be swimming in a homemade caramel sauce.
On the Border has a very flavorful ambiance. Hung on the walls are maracas, Mexican hats and large portraits. The relaxing, laid-back restaurant also has a bar where you can order a drink if you have to wait for a table. I noticed that the only thing I that I would change is to have some tables outside for outdoor seating.
Our waitress was very thoughtful and kind. She greeted us with a friendly smile and then took our drink order. Every few minutes, she would come check to see if we needed anything. I asked her for a refill of a drink and she was back within 30 seconds. All of the waiters and waitresses are phenomenal. Our family enjoyed their wonderful service and you will, too.
Clearly, On the Border is a superb Mexican restaurant. You can see that it has breathtaking pricing, very astonishing service and a fascinating ambiance. I hope you take my word for it! I'll be seeing you at On the Border!
P.F. Chang's China Bistro
8315 Park Meadows Center Dr., Littleton; 303-790-7744
By Brooke Rothfield
Have you ever gone to the best Chinese restaurant in Colorado? If not, here is the name and info on it. P.F. Chang's is a China bistro located on the east side of Park Meadows Mall. The reasons why I'm suggesting this restaurant are the Chinese feeling you get when you're in it, service and the location.
The ambiance is stunning! First, there is a glowing candle at each table and the lights are dim. Then, there are Chinese statues and painting everywhere to make you feel like you're in China; they have a China theme. Also, if you don't like loud music, then P.F. Chang's is the best place to go - they have very soft, relaxing music.
Also, with the ambiance, the service is astonishing! Our waiter checked on us normally and was very, very nice. He often asked if we needed refills. The food came as quick as a wink. After, since it was my mom's birthday, they brought her a luscious cake.
Finally, the location is right around the corner. P.F. Chang's is located at 8315 Park Meadows Center Drive in Littleton. Short drive, huh?
As you can see, P.F. Chang's is my favorite Chinese restaurant, and if you go you will make it yours too. So call and make reservations today at 303-790-7744 for a pleasing look, magnificent service and a right-around-the-corner location.
Rock Center Café
20 W. 50th Street, New York; 212-332-7620
By Sam Benders
If you are ever in New York, known as the Big Apple, you should go to the Rock Center Café. It is at Rockefeller Center, 20 W. 50th Street, New York, NY 10020. I recommend this restaurant because of the quality of the food, the service and the fun.
The quality of the food, you could die for. There needs to be more choice of food. Some meals may be microscopic compared to others.
The service may not be fast, but it is worth the wait. The waiters sure are friendly. The waiters are eager to help you with anything like refills or desserts.
There are a lot of thinks to do around the Rock Center Café, such as theaters, shopping and ice skating. If you are in New York, the café is near Times Square where you can see the glass ball drop.
These are the reasons why I recommend the restaurant, because of all the fun, the stupendous food and the great service. I hope you will try it too.
SaPa
6882 S. Yosemite St., Centennial; 303-741-4051
By Elly Zykan
SaPa is my favorite Thai, Vietnamese, Sushi restaurant around. SaPa is located at 6882 S. Yosemite St. in Centennial. The service is friendly and very helpful. The food is unbelievably delicious. And kids, if you want something to do while you are waiting for your food, there is a sushi bar where a person makes all the sushi.
The service at SaPa is great. Everyone there is very kid-friendly. For example, when my family and I went there, our waiter helped me find the kids' menu. He also recommended something I might like, and I liked it. If we wanted something, he came right out with it. During our meal, our waiter came to ask how we were doing 10 times.
Food at SaPa is mouth-watering. They have a whole page just for sushi. Trust me - you will not be disappointed when you try what you ordered. Some of the things they have at SaPa are drunken noodles, fried rice and teriyaki chicken. On the kids' menu, they have the best-tasting garlic noodles in the world, which come with teriyaki chicken and steamed vegetables. They also have chicken with steamed vegetables and fried rice. Most dishes come with a side of rice. I've never had dessert there, but I'm sure it's superior.
Having a sushi bar at SaPa is what brings in all the kids. If you walk into SaPa, the sushi bar is on the right. There is a table next to the sushi bar if you want to eat there. If you have just ordered sushi, go over to watch the man make it. He quizzes you on what kind of fish he is using and other stuff. It is a lot of fun.
If you like Japanese food as much as I do, then do yourself a favor and come to SaPa for great service, delicious food and the neat and attractive sushi bar. See you there!
Sweet Tomatoes
9445 Park Meadows Drive, Lone Tree; 303-790-8614
By Melani Spath
You can find Sweet Tomatoes off Yosemite. It is convenient because it is near a movie theater. Sweet Tomatoes has delicious food, no service, pricing.
The food at Sweet Tomatoes is excellent. The mac and cheese so cheesy. Ice cream so cold. I love those foods. But there are tons more to choose, like salad, bread, vegetables, mini pizza, fruit, all types of soup, salad toppings, noodles and other foods you might like.
Sweet Tomatoes has no service. It's more a help-yourself type of bar. Well, someone comes once to give you cookies and give you refills on water for free. It rocks!
Since my mom pays for us I asked her if she thought it was economical - that is for a family of four: Two adults, one kid who is 7 and one kid who is 9. I think the pricing is almost free. As you can see, Sweet Tomatoes has mouth-watering food, no service and good prices. Try it and you'll be stuffed. Hope you like it!
