Mark Udall
new TV Ad:
We got to draw a line in the sand, that starting today, right now, America's going to work toward energy independence.
Through new technology and increased efficiency, and with all this wind, why depend so much on foreign oil? We got to produce our own oil and gas, here in our country. And keep it here to power America's economy.
I'm Mark Udall, I approve this message because we have so much at stake, and together we can get this right."
------------------------------------------------------------
A big change from back in May when Mark Udall said:
Mark Udall: Standing on your own: that's just the Colorado way, and it's what America's got to do with our energy policy. Which is why I've led Republicans and Democrats to end our addiction to foreign oil, develop renewable fuels, and provide tax incentives to grow Colorado's new energy economy.
We need energy solutions--green jobs and a cleaner future--for Colorado.
I'm Mark Udall and I approve this message because we've got to get this right.
---------------------------------------------------------
It is time to turn up the heat on our other Democratic Leaders in this State.
Ken Salazar
is still promoting drawing down the Strategic Oil Reserve by 70 Million Barrels. What will we replace those reserves with? Foreign Oil. We will send another $8 Billion to Middle East Countries to pay for replenishing the Strategic Oil Reserve. Our problem is not just that we depend on foreign oil, we are sending our hard earned dollars to foreign governments which further erodes the value of the U. S. Dollar and further drags down our own economy.
Ken Salazar apparently must also believe that by curbing oil speculation we will somehow produce more oil. His two big ideas for lowering fuel costs do nothing at all to increase oil and gas production in the our own country.
Bill Ritter
needs a nudge too. Colorado has an abundance of Oil and Gas reserves. By making it easier to recover these resources, Colorado can help our country break our dependence on foreign produced Oil and Gas.
Imagine the economic boost to our State if our elected officials signed on with Mark Udall's call for more Oil and Gas drilling in our own country.
Mark Udall finally has it right! We need to use every resource available to us to lessen our dependence on foreign oil. In the near term, we MUST produce more oil and gas in our own country while looking to renewable green energy resources to power our country in the future.
Let Ken Salazar and Bill Ritter know where you stand. Also a note to
Nancy Pelosi
can't hurt.
