The Cherry Creek
Blue
9 year old NFC football team has just returned from the Western National Football Tournament in Las Vegas, Nev. as champions.
After having a regular season of 10-0, back to back Super Bowl Championship winning games, 2005 Burt.com Bowl winner, this team went on to Las Vegas to compete with teams from across the western half of the United States. Giving up 6 points in this tournament, this team of 16 boys proved that they are one of the best in the country. Many of the boys have been playing together for the last 4 years and have a total winning streak of 51-3.
Our boy's go to school in and around the Centennial area and many will play in the Cherry Creek School District once they hit High School. Many thanks go out to our coaches,
Corey Ross
,
Boomer Navarro
and
Tod Cavey
.
As Coach Boomer said, "These boy's know football, we just tell them which play to run. They do all the work." Congratulations, CC Blue, a job well done!
