Making a splash at national synchro competition


The Rocky Mountain Splash Synchronized Swim Team has just returned from the National Age Group Championships in Gainesville, Florida. This competition is the largest synchronized swim meet in the world with over 1000 participants.
Splash's 16-17 team swam their way into finals and earned a top 10 spot in the team competition.
The 18-19 age group trio of Victoria Burdon, Taylor Daniels & Audrey McMahon finished with a bronze medal in third place and then teamed up with Mackenzie Brinckerhoff, Siobhan Basdeo, Teagan Darst, Lizzy Rivera & Kendra Roberts to take home the silver and second place.
The goal of Rocky Mountain Splash is to promote the health and growth of our swimmers, ages 6-18 through participation in team oriented training and competition in the sport of synchronized swimming. We will start up our training again Wednesday, Sept .9 at Hinkley High School in Aurora.
