One of the most pressing issues is the rising cost of Healthcare; in the last 20 years the cost has increased 291%! So why on earth is this in a college blog? The cost of college in that same 20 years has gone up 439%, nope that is not a typo. College is getting more and more expensive (just like everything else) but at a much faster rate. The problem is that college is also becoming a "necessity" to excel in the "real world." When you and your family are considering college, cost should be a big consideration, along with academics and good fit for student. Do your homework when it comes to cost and make sure that you know your options for financial aid.
