Contributed by: Greg Thiel on 9/14/2007

Keeping up with a winning tradition local youth inline hockey club, representing the Colorado Flames, won a gold and a bronze medal at this year's SIHA/RC Nationals Bronze Division. Based in Littleton, 12 and Under players faced tough competition during pool play placing third in their respective brackets. Reenergized for the playoff rounds the Flames Red 12U Team triumphed for the bronze medal with an exciting victory over Hershey (PA) Typhoon, 4-3. Not to be outdone by their teammates the Flames Blue 12U Team took their game to another level with a semifinal victory over Hershey (PA) Typhoons (9-3), and prevailed in the finals over the Colorado Lightning (5-3) for the prized gold medal.

Colorado Flames Inline Hockey Club has an age group (6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U, 17U, adults 17-27, 28 & older) and a skills division (novice, intermediate, and advanced) for just about every athlete.
