Let me take you back to the blog written by Jamie Wieland on 11/22/06. Murder unsolved we can all sympathize with the loss of a loved one however it's unfair to mislead and speculate as she has done. George Parks was not murdered he was killed. He did not receive a brutal severe beating. Why do I know this? I was at the trial I heard every witness. She appeared briefly.
George was at his home discussing a drug deal he made with two individuals that didn't turn out so good. As I heard it a very close relative of his was also involved? Drugs had absolutely nothing to do with George's death. Three grown men did not kick his door in and beat him. One man hit him in the face because he did not benefit from stolen property George Parks was to sell for him. As well George called his Mother a name. It was my Brother who pulled the guy off and preventing a severe beating.
Ms Wieland failed to mention her Brother shot an bystander in the face. This was my Nephew. He as well as my Brother had nothing to do with any of it. They didn't know George Parks. They merely gave someone a ride. George Parks came out of that room with a gun shooting. No this was not murder it was self defense. My Brother didn't shoot anyone. I'm sure Ms Wieland was in court to hear the first witnessIt was a Police Officer,George Parks told him not once but twice who shot him. It wasn't my Brother.
Drug dealers should not be glamorized. More to the story read on......
