Rapids Captain For A Day winners
Contributed by: Travis Henry   on 3/30/2007

One of the toughest parts of our job is wrapping up the promotions we host on this site.

Many people take time out of their day to write up great postings and we enjoy reading the submissions. However, as with all contests, not everyone can be a winner. That's what is tough.

In our latest promotion we teamed up with the Colorado Rapids and asked "Why does your child deserve to be the honorary team captain for the Colorado Rapids on opening day?"

We received great entries from all over the Denver metro area and I want to thank everyone who entered. All of your children are very deserving.

I hope everyone keeps posting on the site, telling us the news about their family and neighborhood. And keep an eye out for future promotions. If you didn't win,we'll get you a prize one of these days.

The Rapids are kicking off the season April 7in a beautiful new stadium. I encourage everyone to take their family to Dick's Sporting Goods Park to watch some exciting professional soccer. It really is a good time.

I'll see you there.

The winners:

First prize (Captain For a Day): Bryce Montes
Second prize (Family Four Pack): Reilly Keica
Third prize (Rapids jersey): Donovan Marshall
