COMMERCE CITY (Jan. 30, 2008) - Alpine Waste & Recycling, the largest privately held waste and recycling collection company in the Denver area, has offered a year's worth of free recycling to Denver-area hotels that can divert half their waste stream away from landfills.
In collaboration with the city's efforts to promote environmentalism during this summer's Democratic National Convention, Alpine will fully credit the cost of its Altogether Recycling™ service to any hotel able to send at least 50 percent of its waste stream to recycling or composting within a given month.
The offer is valid immediately and through the end of this year.
"Alpine Waste & Recycling is eager to help establish Denver in the forefront of the nation's focus on sustainability, and we hope our offer to the hotel industry will draw attention to this vital effort," said Grant Parsons, Alpine sales manager.
The new Altogether Recycling™ plant in Denver is capable of processing more than 10,000 tons of material per month on a single-stream basis, meaning customers can combine their recyclables "altogether," with no need for separation into categories.
Hotels that wish to participate in Alpine's program can contact Parsons at 303-744-9881.
