Colorado Preservation, Inc. Adds New Trustees
Denver-Colorado Preservation, Inc., a statewide organization dedicated to promoting and advancing historic preservation in the State of Colorado, announced today that five new trustees have joined the Board of Directors.
New Board of Directors include Cindy Neely, Georgetown, CO;
Martha Vail , Boulder, CO;
Ginny Harrington, Carbondale, CO;
Greg Movesian, Denver, CO and
Jason Dunn, Denver, CO.
"We are excited about these five great additions to our Board," Executive Director James Hare said."
"Each brings to the table strengths that really round out and compliment our directors and will serve us well as we move forward into the future."
Neeley is best known for her work with Historic Georgetown and the I-70 Coalition. She joins the Colorado Preservation, Inc. trustees already quite familiar with the organization as her late husband, Ron Neely was a past recipient of the Dana Crawford Award and worked early on to help develop Colorado Preservation, Inc. Vail is well known for her expertise in management and fundraising and owns a non-profit consulting business. Harrington is a fourth generation ranching Coloradan and is especially interested in Colorado Preservation, Inc.'s Survey and Endangered Places program.
Movesian is a canon at the Cathedral of St. John's in the Wilderness church and Dunn, who serves as an attorney with Brownstein, Hyatt and Farber, is well versed in the legislative process.
Colorado Preservation, Inc., founded in 1984, is the only statewide organization dedicated to promoting and advancing historic preservation in the State of Colorado. The organization is best known for its Saving Places Conference, the largest statewide gathering of preservationists in the nation. Colorado Preservation is also recognized for its signature Most Endangered Places Program, the annual Dana Crawford awards, the quarterly
Colorado Preservationist journal, the
Bring it Home for The Dome campaign which is the Colorado State Capitol dome rehabilitation fundraising effort and Historicorps.
