Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) is the leading cause of death among infants between one month and one year of age. SIDS claims the lives of about 2,500 infants each year in the United States. It remains unpredictable despite years of research.
The Colorado SIDS Program is the only organization in Colorado dedicated to raising awareness about SIDS and its effect on families. By providing free support groups, counseling and other bereavement services, this Program is available to anyone who has been touched by the sudden and unexpected loss of an infant. In addition, the staff of The Colorado SIDS Program provides community education programs and risk reduction information, and makes presentations throughout the state to parents, child care providers, medical professionals and first responders.
The Colorado SIDS Program presents
Claws for a Cause in partnership with generous support from Old Chicago, Wells Fargo, InstaKey, American National Bank, Breckenridge Brewery, Galloway & Associates and Steamboat Resorts.
