Commerce City to host benefit golf tournament
Contributed by: Laurie Anderson on 6/17/2008

The Denver Children's Home, serving the state's abused and neglected children, will be the beneficiary of an Aug. 7 golf tournament organized by the Rocky Mountain Chapter of CoreNet Global. The Chapter is a key resource to corporate real estate professionals in the region with the mission of advancing knowledge, connecting people and promoting personal excellence. The tournament will be presented by the City of Commerce City and held at the Buffalo Run Golf Course in Commerce City.

The 4th Annual CoreNet Global tournament will have a 7:30 a.m. shotgun start, followed by lunch and awards presentation at the club house. Individual golfers are $150 (which includes breakfast, golf, lunch and prizes) and sponsorships are available from $500 to $5,000. Non-golfers may attend the lunch for $25.

Twenty percent of the golf tournament proceeds will benefit the Denver Children's Home with the remaining proceeds used for CoreNet Global programs. The Denver Children's Home (denverchildrenshome.org) was established 131 years ago and its mission is to provide a therapeutic, safe place for emotionally distressed children, adolescents and their families to heal and grow. To register or for more information about sponsorships, please call 303-758-1118 or visit www.corenetglobal.org/rockymountainor regonline.com/corenet-golf.
