METH PARAPHERNALIA FOUND IN CAR
On April 22 at 11:30 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop because of a misused temporary tag. While talking to the driver, the officers noticed a large folding knife near the gear shift. It was within easy access of the driver and he kept moving his hand toward the knife before abruptly thrusting his hand into his right pocket. For officer safety, the officers removed the man from his car and restrained him. During a search of his vehicle, they found brass knuckles, a black pouch with a methamphetamine pipe and 1.0 grams of methamphetamine and a digital scale. The man was taken to the police department and charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possessing an illegal weapon and misuse of license plates.

As the officers arrived at the house, they realized they arrived before the fire department. They collected fire extinguishers from their cars, grabbed a garden hose from the residence and extinguished the fire. When the fire department arrived, their officers began an investigation into the fire, since it appeared to be suspicious.
STRANGER ASKS FOR MONEY
