Colorado is the most beautiful place in our country. Our beautiful state, full of National Parks and full of all types of wild life is now being threatened. Whom do you think would threaten all of this? Republican US Congressmen.
President Obama wanted Congress to get the Credit Card bill going as this is a very important piece of legislation for our country and for some tricky Republican politics, the Republicans in Congress added this little piece to the bill, stating that "ALL TYPES of Loaded GUNS" are now legal in National Parks & Wild Life Refuges.
How in the world could our Congress do this to us? It does appear that the National Rifle Association is also involved with these Republican Congressmen. There is the link of corruption! The added piece was not even debated, it was just added. How underhanded could these Republican Congressmen be?
Our wild life is no longer protected, our wild life refuges are no longer protected. Park Rangers will now have to look out for people with loaded guns. Hikers will have to be weary of other hikers who may be carrying loaded guns. Parents will have to watch their children even more closely now, as you never know who in the campsite will have a loaded gun! The amendment will allow ALL TYPES OF GUNS! National Parks are not meant for GUNS!
This is a clear threat to Colorado's historic parks and all its visitors, not to mention all the staff that work there! I just have this awful feeling in my stomach that our State of Colorado is going to be damaged because of this! Don't our police departments and park ranges have enough to do? And now they have to deal with loaded guns in our parks!
Colorado has a lot to loose. Our beautiful state and its parks are now going to be dangerous for all. Let your elected officials know that this is a BAD step to take for Colorado. We want to PROTECT what we have, and Congress wants to take this from us.
Please let your elected officials know that, we want our wild life and our national parks to be safe and allowing guns into them is not the way to go.
