City seeks volunteers for city boards

The city has several vacancies on various boards, commissions and committees.

Citizen participation is strongly encouraged; it ensures that your local government addresses the needs of Commerce City and its residents.

If you have experience, knowledge and time, and care about the future of the city, you are encouraged to apply.Citizens with expertise in these areas are needed. Applications are being accepted for:

Cultural Council
five regular positions

Housing Authority
applications being accepted

Zoning Board of Adjustment
applications being accepted

Board of Victim Services
one regular position

Derby Review Board
two members of or stakeholders in the Derby Neighborhood, two design professionals, one alternate, one chairman

To be considered for a position, your application must be received in the city clerk's office by 5 p.m. Thursday, May 15.
