NASCAR may be coming to Adams County

Officials with the International Speedway Corporation announced they were looking at placing a 75,000-seat track at one of two locations in Adams County in order to bring a NASCAR Nextel Cup race to the metro area.

The first location being looked at is west of Aurora in Watkins. The other is in Commerce City, southwest of Reunion, between 88th Avenue and 96th Avenue between Tower Road and C-470.
