Mexico finished second in the recently-concluded 2007 CONCACAF Gold Cup, falling to their arch-rivals, the United States, 2-1. Mexico is now in Puerto Ordaz, Venezuela, where they will face Brazil (June 27), Ecuador (July 1) and Chile (July 4) in the first round phase of Copa America.
