Snap Fall Photos While Riding on the Rails

Take in Colorado's fall foliage aboard The Rio Grande Scenic Railroad.

View the vibrant colors of Colorado's fall from an open air car aboard The Rio Grande Scenic Railroad, September 26. Passengers can enjoy a train ride across the San Luis Valley while snapping images of the scenic valleys, towering peaks, and wildlife. Passengers will also be treated to insider tips and techniques from a local train photographer.

Fall in the mountains is not to be missed and this special ride is taking place during Colorado's peak viewing season.

The train departs from Alamosa at 9 a.m. Reservations are required and must be made by calling 1-877-726-RAIL (7245).
