Blog Entry 36 of 54 Confessions of a Campaign Manager
My name is Christopher Moyer, and I am the campaign manager for Andrew Scripter, who is running for the State House in Jefferson County. In this blog I will show what life is really like on the campaign trail. In addition my true motivation for writing this blog will be to uplift the tenor and tone of campaigning and move beyond partisanship. I call this "Transcending and Transforming politics." We must always remember that above all we are not Democrats or Republicans, but Coloradoans and Americans.

Campaign Confessions - Just 4 weeks to go

Just four more weeks to go to go till the election.

That means that four weeks ago everyone else in the country reached their saturation level for politics four months ago, and I am just hitting the sprint finish.

Just four more weeks to go till the election. Just 28 more days to go till I can stop being a bad friend and return all the calls and emails that start out "where have you been"

Just four more weeks to go to go till I can stop being a bad date and end living by the rule that I can not confirm a date till 1 hour before it happens, and even then I will probably be late.

Just four more weeks to go till I can start playing soccer again, return to eating at regular times, return to eating healthy, and actually get regular exercise that does not involve walking from door to door asking people to vote for...

Just four more weeks to go till a regular work day is almost a regular work day and not from 8 a.m. till midnight.

Just four more weeks to go and I suppose I won't know what to do with myself.
