APRS - What is it? How is it used?

What:	The 285 TechConnect Radio Club meets to provide a forum for technical learning and sharing of information for ham radio operators. At our September meeting we will have a demonstration of APRS (Automatic Packet Reporting System) - what it is, how it works and how it can be used in emergency situations. Where:	The Inter-Canyon Fire Department Station #3 on US-285 about 8.5 miles southwest of the C-470 and US-285 intersection just before Windy Point on the north side of the highway.
