Volunteers Sought for "All That Glitters" Benefit

Join the fun and become a volunteer for the Mountain Resource Center's "All That Glitters," set for 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 18. This year's theme is "Fantasy Island," and will take place on Lookout Mountain at the Mount Vernon Country Club. That evening the clubhouse will be transformed into a tropical paradise.

Opportunities are available on various committees, including Sponsorship, Silent Auction, Donor and Sponsor Solicitation, Ticket Sales, Program and Venue, Accounting, Checkout for Auction Items, Registration, Decorations, Treasure Hunt, Preparation of Gift Baskets for the Silent Auction.

"This benefit provides for a large portion of the Center's income and helps us offer basic and essential health and human services to our mountain neighbors," said Traci Vales Hass, coordinator of volunteers and the event.
