COLORADO TEAM IN RECORD SETTING SKYDIVE

DENVER- SkyVenture Colorado presented a check for $2,400 to 11-year cancer survivor and skydiver Mary SantAngelo June 15, 2009 for Jump For The Cause, the skydiving industry's premiere fundraiser for breast cancer research.

SantAngelo is part of a four-woman Colorado skydiving team who will compete for a new Women's World Record in formation skydiving in California this September. As part of this competition, all women that will be attending this record setting skydive are raising money for cancer research and the Colorado team raised their money through SkyVenture Colorado.

At SkyVenture Colorado anyone age 3 to 103 can learn to skydive without actually having to jump out of an airplane or use a parachute. First time flyers go through a training session with the world's best instructors before gearing up and taking flight. Experts use SkyVenture Colorado to train and advance their skills. Regardless of the level, it's a fun and exhilarating experience.

A gift card for a basic flight ticket costs just $50 and includes training plus the equivalent of nearly three free falls.

SkyVenture Colorado is one of less than a dozen SkyVenture tunnels in the U.S.It opened in early 2006 and is the first U.S. wind tunnel where guests can skydive indoors day or night, in any kind of weather. The tunnel is located at 9230 Park Meadows Drive in the Lone Tree Entertainment District just south of Park Meadows Mall near shopping, restaurants, theaters and bowling. It's open daily beginning at 9 a.m. Group rates are available and SkyVenture has a special room for birthday parties and bridal showers.
