Conifer High School senior, Tom Owsiany finished an impressive football career for the Conifer Lobos this year. Selected as the top 3A offensive lineman in the State by the Rocky Mountain News in August, Tom played his third starting season for the Lobos where he earned his second

All-Conference award at center along with All-Conference honors on defense and the North Metro League Defensive Lineman MVP. His honors were topped by being selected to play in the June CHSCA All-State Game and receiving first team All-State honors on offense by the Rocky Mt.News and Denver Post.

In his 4 years with his Conifer teammates he had the honor of playing in two State Quarterfinal games and being a member of the 2005 League Champions.

He attributes much of his success to Coach Fitzmaurice and Manier and former teammate Blaine Sumner who is currently playing for the CO School of Mines. Tom is considering going to Black Hills State University on a football scholarship.

Jim Owsiany is Tom's father and football coach at Platte Canyon High School.
