As a reminder, voters must be affiliated with either the Democrat or Republican Party in order to vote in the Primary Election. Registered unaffiliated voters who applied to vote by mail must affiliate with either the Democratic or Republican Party to receive their mail-in ballot and vote. These voters can affiliate by completing a declaration of party affiliation form at the Clerk and Recorder's Office. Once the form has been completed, the voter can then be issued the requested party ballot.
Unaffiliated voters who have not applied for a mail-in ballot may follow the procedure listed above, or may also declare a party affiliation at an Early Voting site or at a precinct polling location and receive a ballot.
