Deadline approaches for Conifer logo contest

The deadline for the Conifer Community Center logo contest is fast approaching. Local artists are encouraged to participate by designing a logo for this new non-profit organization whose purpose is to provide a quality, environmentally friendly facility to include indoor and outdoor amenities and activities for community members of all ages.

Logo designs must be submitted by Aug. 31. To participate in the contest, go to the Web site, www.conifercommunitycenter.com and get the details and entry rules.

Area residents will have the opportunity to vote on their favorite logo through the Web site between Sept. 1 and Sept. 30. The winning logo will be featured on all Conifer Community Center materials.
