Crazy about Corvette's
Contributed by: Kelly Zajicek on 6/3/2007

My husband got me my first Corvette six years ago for an early anniversary present....
A 1976 Corvette Stingray. Since then, we've added two more vettes, a 1981 and a 1985.

My husband travels a lot, so one night I was curled up on the couch looking at some Corvette books and I got a wild idea..... Why not get a tattoo to show my love and devotion for my passion?
The next day I went alone and got one of the C3 Crossed Flags and "CORVETTE" underneath it.

My husband wasn't too thrilled with me when I told him, but he understood.

At first, I was kinda ashamed that I went and did it. But now I don't care what other people think since it was my mom who told me to be proud of it.
So I am doing what mom has told me to do and I now show it with pride !!!!!
My dad passed away last September and my brother passed away in 2003, so I am now thinking of doing something in remembrance of them. I'm not sure as to what, but my brother was a drag racer, so I was thinking of having his race car put on my arm, but finding someone to be able to do a race car is kinda hard.

As it was, I couldn't find anyone who could do a Corvette, so that's why I just had the flags put on.

Anyway, I am so happy to have found this Web site (Thanks to my mom!) and see that girls have tats and aren't afraid to show them off.

Thanks!
Kelly Z
