Hey, I'll tell you one thing: When we have a contest here at
YourHub.com
and ask you to be creative, the more you get into it, the better.
Last year, when we were trying to give away two tickets to a
Broncos-Patriots
playoff game last year, you know who won?
Two ladies from Lakewood
who have had Broncos players sign their legs, then rushed straight to a tattoo artist to have them permanently inked on. They each had seven signatures. That's hardcore.
So, when it came time to judge the entries our
Blue Man Group
contest, in which the winner received two tickets to see the Blue Man Group in Vegas (and airfare and ahotel accomodations), we had to give it to the guy who painted himself blue:
Bill Boucher
.
Our judges wished there were two grand prize winners when they reviewed
Karin Malchow
's entry, in which someone posted photos of Karin shooting up and passing out on a couch. However, there could only be one winner. Karin got two tickets to see the Blue Man Group in the Pepsi Center on Oct. 28, as did the rest of our winners:
Paul Torrez
, Longmont
Mike Wolford
, Aurora
Mary Juszynski
, Broomfield
Becky Kantack
, Highlands Ranch
Erin Di Paolo
, Green Valley Ranch
Kris Crocker
, Lakewood
Toni Dougherty
, Littleton
Erin Glombecki
, Littleton
Randall Wood
, Broomfield
So, the Blue Man Group contest is over. Congratulations to our winners. We don't have any concert tickets left to give out, which only leaves us with some
Starbucks gift cards
,
mattress sets
, donations to your youth or high school
sports teams
and
free digital photo prints
at Walgreens to give away. Oh, and we'll send the
Broncos Cheerleaders
, Miles, and former Broncos players
over to your house to watch the Nov. 12 Raiders game with you.
