Don't play Trivial Pursuit during Super Bowl XLI
Contributed by: Mark Spiroff on 4/22/2007

Well... I'm writing this because I love arena football... and I want to win front row tickets to the Colorado Crush.

And one of the better Arena Football games I've ever been to was 'back in the day' in 1990.

My very good friends and I were fortunate to have mid-field seats, almost front row at an arena football game in 1990.

After dinner and several pitchers of beer, we arrived early for kick-off and took what we thought were our seats to begin the game. Seconds later, several very large and well-dressed (bling) atheletic men entered our row to take their seats next to us.

They / we discovered that we had mistakenly (pitchers of beer) sat in two of their seats and needed to move down a couple spaces. I was on the end of our group next to these gentleman. It didn't take long to recognize that I was sitting next to Bobby Humphries, the former running back of the Denver Broncos in their losing effort to the San Francisco 49ers during SuperBowlXLI

Bobby commented to me that he was amused about how "excited/animated/enibriated my group was behaving, and wanted to know how we all knew each other, etc.

I responded that we didn't see each other all that often... Further that we were all last together to watchSuper BowlXLI, but that the game was so bad that we wound up playing Trivial Pursuit by the 3rd Quarter.... oooops.(stupid, stupid, stupid comment)

Needless to say, it wasa very awkward arena football game from that point forward.... ooops.

Thanks for the opportunity to compete for arena football tickets!
Mark
