Mary - The #1 Rockies fan - Go Rockies - Go Mary!!

I do love the Rockies - but I am writing this on behalf of my friend's Mom. She is 85 years old (she would not admit that!!) and loves the Rockies.

Mary Cartwright moved here from Omaha a couple of years ago. She lives in Lakewood in a senior housing apartment. The Rockies are HER team! She decorates her apartment balcony with balloons and other Rockies memoribilia.

She has so many purple flowers! She organizes a group of people to go watch the games at the common room in the building. She makes lots of goodies for them all to enjoy. (The apartment manager has said this never happened before Mary came along - now all these seniors are having a blast!). Mary also goes to as many games as she can. Unfortunately. we tried and tried to get her world series tickets to no avail - but she did get to opening day this year! Mary knows all the stats - she just adores the players. It would be so nice to win the suite for her - she could be the Queen For A Day amongst her family and friends - hosting this special event!

The Rockies make Mary very happy - she loves them when they are up - but also if they are down. She is a true fan - and an extremely nice lady!
Go Rockies! Go Mary - you are quite the "gal"!
