Chris Ransick's Tour Poemboy vs. the Media Gorgon
Featuring Denver's Poet Laureate, Chris Ransick The Media Gorgon symbolizes a modern marvel: Mass media is a rapidly-evolving technological phenomenon. Meanwhile, literature remains rooted in ancient tradition. Ransick directs his thoughtful, poetic approach at a series of questions: What is the relationship between literature and mass media? How is mass media developing? What does this changing landscape mean for parents, children, teachers, writers, and readers?
