I went
home for Thanksgiving.
At my house, my mom created a little curio shelf in our entryway long enough ago that it blended into the background of my daily life and I hardly paid any attention to it. I've been fully away from home for more about three and a half years now and for some reason, this particular trip home I realized how awesome this little shelf really was for keeping track of stuff I and my younger siblings were into as we grew up.
Just how far does this little artifact stretch back? My mom began dusting it when I said I wanted to take a photo of it and as she pulled out the trinkets, she found a ticket stub for a
Sharon, Lois and Brahm concert at the Denver Auditorium (now Ellie Caulkins) in 1989, a gift for my fifth birthday.
There are mini
Star Wars toys, Muppets,
Battle Beasts and even an ALF figure, all mixed up with various ticket stubs from my mom's theater visits.
Today, I'm going to send you the this photo as I posted it on Flickr, so you can see all the annotations.
