Blog Entry 54 of 65 Different Rhymes for Different Times
Pretty much just some street-type rhymin' goin' on here. Some rhymes might have proper grammar, but most of 'em probably won't. Nothin' fancy. Kinda just however I'm feelin' at any given time. Sometimes there'll be an explanation for the rhyme, sometimes there won't be. Not a whole lot of words endin' in the letter "g". Hopefully nobody ever gets offended by anything I write. That is definitely not my intention. Just kinda writin' out my feelings in rhyme, that's all.

Broken

She sits all alone
all alone in the dark
Facing the unknown
all alone in the dark
Staring at the phone
all alone in the dark
No one to call her own
all alone in the dark

They used to have it all
towards the end of the beginning
Life was such a ball
towards the end of the beginning
They stood proud and tall
towards the end of the beginning
But in time they would fall
towards the end of the beginning

He lies in despair
at the edge of the bed
With a glassy stare
at the edge of the bed
Whispering a prayer
at the edge of the bed
But she's never there
at the edge of the bed

The love wasn't gone
at the beginning of the end
But they were both withdrawn
at the beginning of the end
They knew they had to move on
at the beginning of the end
and find a brighter dawn
at the beginning of the end

She sits all alone
He lies in despair
Facing the unknown
With a glassy stare
Staring at the phone
Whispering a prayer
No one to call her own
But she's never there
