Amazing how you can take the small wonders of your own backyard for granted, isn't it?
The last couple of weekends, Lee and I have been planting - me, the tomatoes and tomatillos, the flowers, herbs, lettuce and bush beans for her.
We weren't the only ones busy in the yard, however - there's a family of sparrows (again, unfortunately) in the garage birdhouse and moving the big bird feeder has led to the reappearance of finches that are normally out of sight in the linden tree.
Of course, the dogs, Chaco and Summer, are finding the yard a perfect lounging place, as they do most of the year.
